Laura is a Psychotherapist and Clinical Psychologist currently working in private practice. She has over 20 years’ clinical experience and has worked in a variety of settings including NHS, Alternative Education Provision, in residential care, in Employee Assistance Programmes and as a lecturer and clinical supervisor in therapy training institutions.

She studied Psychology at ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome and moved to London shortly after her degree, where she then started working in therapeutic communities. London is also where she trained as a Psychotherapist at Regent’s University and qualified in 2004.

During her work experience in Therapeutic communities, she became involved in the Community of Communities project at the Royal College of Psychiatrists; firstly in a peer auditing team, then as a Lead Reviewer and later on as TC-Specialist and Enabling Environment assessor; which has enabled her to visit organisations both within and outside the UK. She continues her involvement as Director with Polyfonia (formerly INDTC) since 2016.
